Projects
See below a sample of the latest projects I have been involved with:
Project: BEES
AB Inbev ecommerce platform that is globally present in over 25 countries.
Problem:
Launch and scale BEES in the UK.
My role:
Digital Transformation Manager and BEES Lead in the UK. I joined during the ideation phase, where we still needed to pitch for approval, I drafted the business case and got it approved to launch in 2022.
I led the discovery phase with business stakeholders, reviewing business models and opening gaps to be closed before the launch. With the gaps mapped I aligned the development with Global and Zone teams then approved back the deadlines and objectives with the country senior leadership.
I tracked the development with Zone and Global teams doing SIT and UAT to assure the quality of the development and fix any bugs. BEES was launched in 2022 in the UK winning the award of best solutions project in 2022.
After it's launch I became BEES Product Manager in the UK and managed BEES from 2022 to 2024, keeping the tool stable while upgrading it and scaling it up to $270 million GMV in the UK.
Project: Doves
AB Inbev AI automation platform for customer support.
Problem:
Increase in cancellations due to delays in customer support causing losses to the business.
My role:
I did the ideation, approval, and end-to-end development of the tool with the service center in India and Deloitte's development team. Connecting it back to my country stakeholders and sponsors.
In this project I used the Six Sigma methodology to highlight the tasks that were bottlenecking the operation and causing the delays. After mapping the necessary automations and prioritizing the benefits and risks, we planned the development and deployment in 2 big phases with 12 automations planned for 2022 and 8 automations planned for 2023.
After a sucessful deployment, we were quite happy to receive the Blue Prizm Award for Innovation, as we used first class technology to fully connect our customers with our systems and automating the whole journey so any changes would be immediately taken into effect, creating a reduction of 98% on cancellations due to delays and generating extra $1.2 million in revenue while protecting even more in topline.
Project: DraftVision (BUDS)
First Drinks Dispense portal in the world.
Problem:
Bring digital transformation to Drinks Dispense and disrupt the competition.
My role:
I acted as product owner, creating the features, epics and stories for the development. Managing the backlog and prioritising it for the sucessful launch. The biggest challenge in this project was a tight deadline, as the business realised there were no competitors online, we pushed to bring the minimum viable product as fast as possible to market. The project was approved in May 2023 with a launch date planned for November 2023, the same got moved forward to September 2023 once we got the whole team in place to start the project.
With the progress and constant updates I was bringing to the C-Level, our sponsor change his vision to have it launched in August 2023 and giving the team only two months for discovery, development and UAT before moving it to production. After I explained the rare opportunity we had in our hands, our developers bought in on the dream to deliver it and DraftVision came to life in the 20th of August 2023. And with the constant updates after the launch, I received compliments from the sponsor on surprising him on the quality and range of features delivered; from the development team on how they were empowered to do changes and implement their ideas; from customers on the better experience and much faster service comparing to phone calls and emails; and from the sales teams as we also onboarded them to streamline their routines and reduce the number of systems they were using.
